DHA to home-deliver medicines across UAE

The Dubai Health Authority’s medicine delivery service has been expanded to cover the entire UAE.

The initiative, called Dawa’ee, aims to deliver medication to the homes of elders and people of determination who have a valid Enaya or Saada health insurance.

It has been introduced to ensure that those who are most at risk for COVID-19 can still have access to their regular medication without leaving their homes.

Under Dawa’ee, a specialist pharmacist will also visit the patients to provide counselling and advice related to the medication they receive.

The DHA has partnered with Talabat for the free deliveries, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Dr. Ali Al Sayed, Director of the Pharmaceutical Services Department, said the DHA is keen to continue developing its services, adding that the authority spares no effort in ensuring the wellbeing of patients during this critical time.
