COVID-19: UAE announces 941 new cases, 1,018 recoveries

The UAE has announced 941 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 26,004.

That’s after the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) conducted more than 43,732 coronavirus tests across the UAE.

According to government spokesperson Dr. Amna Al Dahhak, six people of different nationalities have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 233.

Meanwhile, 1,018 more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 11,809  in the UAE.

A total of 13,962 patients are still receiving treatment for COVID-19.
