COVID-19: UAE announces 603 cases, 1,277 recoveries

The UAE has announced 603 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the total tally to 40,507.

At the most recent government press briefing, spokesperson Dr. Amna Al Dahhak Al Shamsi said the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) conducted more than 47,000 tests..

A total of 16,207 cases remain active. 

Meanwhile 1,277  patients have recovered from the virus, bringing the recovery tally to 24,017.

One patient has died due to complications related to the virus. The death toll is now 284.
