A total of 10 commercial establishments in Dubai have been penalised during the latest round of inspections to ensure compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
A local tour operator and a tailor shop in Naif were fined for employees’ lack of commitment to wearing masks.
Meanwhile, eight commercial entities were issued warnings for not placing physical distancing stickers.
A total of 765 businesses were found to be fully compliant with the precautionary measures.
The Dubai Economy stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
