Combatting COVID-19: Abu Dhabi Police distributes face masks in select areas

WAM

Residents in several parts of Abu Dhabi have received free face masks and personal protective supplies, as Abu Dhabi Police steps up efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.

As part of the 'For Your Safety' campaign, officers also advised the public on how to protect themselves when they step out, and the importance of following social distancing rules.

Captain Mohamed Musabah Al Saadi of Abu Dhabi Police said the drive is part of efforts to ensure precautionary measures to combat COVID-19 are followed in the community.

The first round of the campaign has benefitted those living in Musaffah, Al Mafraq and Al Shawamekh, and Al Ain City.
