Cinemas, indoor gyms, fitness centres and children's salons in Ajman are allowed to resume operations from Saturday, May 30 as long as they are complying with the government’s health and safety guidelines.

According to Ajman’s Department of Economic Development, service providers must ensure that their operational capacity does not exceed 50 per cent.

Similar rules are also in place for car wash centres and valet parking services.

Meanwhile, retail and wholesale trading sectors can receive up to 70 per cent of their customers and employees.

Adults aged 60 and above as well as children who are 12 and below are allowed to enter shopping centres only if they are visiting clinics or therapy centres located inside malls, but with a prior appointment.

Malls and retail outlets can choose their most preferred operating hours, anytime between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, while only 30 per cent of a mall’s parking facilities will remain closed.

F&B outlets and food courts are permitted to operate at their own capacity while maintaining the hygiene, sanitisation and social distancing norms but they are all required to place their tables at least two metres apart or set up separators/screens between the tables.
