Workers in Abu Dhabi’s Mussafah area will be able to take COVID-19 tests at two new clinics.

The clinics are being set up by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and are open to all, regardless of legal status.

"This free of charge service is available to everyone, including those who are in violation of the residency regulations," the ADDED said.

They request that anyone with fever, cough and difficulty breathing, particularly if they are above 50s, seek medical attention at the specialist clinics for free examination and treatment.

The initiative is part of the Abu Dhabi Government’s series of efforts to ensure health and safety of the workers and to contain the spread of the virus.
