Abu Dhabi has announced a decrease of 0.2 per cent in the rate of COVID-19 infections based on the total tests conducted.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee on Monday said intensified vaccination drives, continuous screening and a comprehensive contact tracing system are some measures that have helped in the fight against COVID-19.

Other recent measures include a mandatory green pass for entry into public spaces, a disinfection drive, temporary stay-at-home orders, use of advanced technology to detect infection, strict policies for violators and free testing at selected areas across the Emirate.
