Abu Dhabi: only some hospitals dedicated to treating COVID-19 cases

WAM

Abu Dhabi residents have been advised to contact Estijaba in case of a suspected COVID-19 infection.

According to the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, people can contact the toll-free number (8001717) if they’d like to approach one of the testing centres across the capital.

This comes after officials announced that Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain are not dedicated to handling suspected cases of the coronavirus.

They also clarified that the mentioned facilities will not receive influenza patients either.

However, Al Rahba Hospital and Al Ain Hospital will be dedicated to treating COVID-19 cases in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA.

Residents are being reminded that the mobile drive-thru testing facility in Zayed Sports City will also be accessible between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on weekdays.
