Abu Dhabi officials visit victims injured in recent attacks

A senior Abu Dhabi delegation visited Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City to check on patients injured in Iran’s missile and drone attacks on the UAE and review their treatment.

The delegation included His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team for Abu Dhabi; His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi; Her Excellency Dr Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi; His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre - Abu Dhabi and His Excellency Dr. Rashed Alsuwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC).

They received briefings on patient cases, approved treatment plans, and reviewed coordination across Abu Dhabi’s integrated healthcare and emergency response system.

Leaders highlighted the emirate’s advanced clinical capabilities, full operational readiness, and seamless integration of medical, security, and service entities to provide rapid, comprehensive care without disrupting routine services.

Major General Al Muhairi stressed that patient safety is a top priority and praised the coordination and preparedness of healthcare teams. He reaffirmed that the injured are receiving full care and that essential services continue uninterrupted.

Chairman Al Mansoori confirmed that the healthcare system is fully prepared, with continuous monitoring of patients and coordination through the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre (UMOC) to ensure timely, effective care.

The visit concluded with a commitment to ongoing medical follow-up, strengthening frontline support and upholding Abu Dhabi’s dedication to community welfare under all circumstances.
