A medical laboratory has been shut down in Abu Dhabi for breaching various rules and regulations.
The facility was pulled up by the Department of Health (DoH) for not complying with its policies and circulars, as well as electronic reporting systems related to public health statistics.
The DoH said the closure of the laboratory is a regulatory measure taken to preserve the health and safety of the public and to allow the lab to take necessary corrective measures.
DoH has closed a medical laboratory as a result of the health audit findings against the facility. The closure came as a regulatory measure taken to preserve the health of community members and allow the facility to take all corrective actions
