WAM

The Abu Dhabi authorities are responding to two fires that broke out in the vicinity of the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) on Saturday as a result of falling missile debris.

United Arab Emirates air defences successfully intercepted a ballistic missile that fell in the KEZAD area - the largest trade, logistics, and industrial zone in the emirate.

The authorities revealed that the incident resulted in injuries to five individuals of Indian nationality, ranging from moderate to minor.

The authorities also urged and reminded the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or unverified information.
