Abu Dhabi Courts introduce legal claim forms in French

WAM

French-speaking litigants in Abu Dhabi can now file for petitions, grievances, and motions in their native language.

That's because courts in the capital have started accepting legal claim forms in French.

The move coincides with the celebration of France's Bastille Day on July 14.

According to the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the 'interactive' forms also contains information on the procedures of litigation and other legal rights and obligations.

They also include access to legal articles relevant to the dispute.
