The Abu Dhabi Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Team has held an urgent online meeting to review the impact of ongoing regional developments.

The session was chaired by Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the Team.

The meeting assessed preparedness across key sectors and reviewed response plans and business‑continuity measures.

Officials said round‑the‑clock monitoring is active, with strengthened coordination among strategic partners to ensure fast information flow and informed decision‑making.

They added that Abu Dhabi’s emergency system follows a proactive, multi‑source risk analysis approach, with operational plans updated regularly to maintain essential services across energy, health, transport, food security and communications.

The team also looked at the readiness of command‑and‑control centres, early‑warning systems and logistical support, along with government entities’ continuity plans to ensure unified resilience across the emirate.

Officials emphasised the need for accurate, responsible communication to counter rumours, and confirmed that authorities are closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary measures.
