998 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE confirmed 998 new cases of COVID-19 from 309,312 tests on Saturday.

Another 1,559 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 700,548.

One patients has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,036.

A total of 715,394 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 12,810 are currently active.
