The UAE has confirmed 229 new cases of COVID-19 from 272,856 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 408 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 878,056.
The total number of fatalities remains at 2,302 as no further deaths have been reported.
A total of 895,892 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 15,534 are currently active.
