1,088 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 1,088 new cases of COVID-19 from 162,695 tests in the past 24 hours.

Another 1,004 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 971,757.

No new deaths have been reported, with fatalities remaining unchanged at 2,335.

A total of 992,652 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,560 are currently active.
