A Nepali man has created history by becoming the fastest climber to reach the summits of the world’s 14 tallest mountains.

36-year-old Nirmal Purja completed the feat in just over six months.

Most seasoned climbers around the world take years to scale all 14 summits.

Eight of the world's 14 tallest mountains are in Nepal while five are in Pakistan and one in Tibet.
