Major events cancelled around the world over coronavirus fears

Several major events have been cancelled around the world to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

Organisers and governments have taken the step as countries around the world are on a war-footing to ensure the virus does not spread.

With several new travel restrictions and guidelines being introduced on a daily basis, many companies are cancelling non-essential travel for staff which is also preventing people from attending conferences.
