A 12-year-old boy managed to slip through security to board a flight without a passport, boarding pass or adults at London's Heathrow Airport.

The child was all set to board a flight to Los Angeles before he was noticed by a British Airways' cabin crew member.

According to the airlines, the boy is most likely to be a Dutch national and may have arrived at Heathrow as a transit passenger.

Airport authorities are currently trying to get in touch with his family.
