Khloé Kardashian is "heartbroken" following Lamar Odom's hospitalisation. The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star's ex-husband was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after being found unconscious in a brothel and the shocking incident has left Khloé feeling "completely inconsolable and heartbroken". According to E! News, the 35-year-old basketball player has not regained consciousness since he was found and remains in a "critical" condition. However, Lamar's destructive tendencies mean the family haven't been surprised by the news. A Kardashian family source said: "[It] isn't shocking, but it is sad." The couple wed in September 2009, exactly one month after meeting at a party, but filed for divorce in December 2013, with the agreement being finalised in July this year. Since the divorce was completed Khloé - who is expected to travel to be by his bedside at a hospital in Las Vegas - has severed all ties with the star but is "not good" following his hospitalisation, having been concerned about his behaviour for a while. A source revealed: "Khloé Kardashian had cut off contact with Lamar in the summer and she has been worried about Lamar for a very long time." Despite their split - which was blamed on his infidelity and drug problem - she recently claimed he will always have a special spot in her heart. Speaking earlier this year, Khloe - who is now dating James Harden - confessed: "I will never, ever not love Lamar. "I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. "There's nothing I can do. Lamar has to do things in order to change in that aspect, but yeah, if I had my way I'd be married to Lamar in two seconds."
