The UAE's Ministry of Economy and Tourism has announced the conclusion of the sixth edition of the World’s Coolest Winter campaign, which recorded strong results across all seven emirates.
Hotel revenues reached AED 12.5 billion, with the total number of guests topping 5 million, up five per cent from the previous edition, while occupancy rates averaged 84 per cent.
Launched on December 16 under the slogan 'Our Winter is Entrepreneurial', the six-week campaign showcased the UAE's diverse tourism offerings, from islands and beaches to nature reserves, heritage sites and urban landmarks.
Globally, the initiative generated over 300 million views and reached more than 1.5 billion people.
The campaign aimed not only to promote domestic tourism but also to spotlight entrepreneurship-driven experiences and encourage investment in local tourism projects.
It focused on green tourism, sustainable destinations and the UAE’s natural and cultural assets, while supporting continued growth in international visitor arrivals.
