flydubai has launched two leadership programmes designed to accelerate internal talent growth, strengthen leadership capability and further embed a high-performance, values-driven work culture across the organisation.

The initiatives include an Executive Leadership Programme for senior leaders and a Management Training Programme for mid-level managers, both nine-month blended learning journeys focused on translating strategy into business impact.

In their first year, the Executive Leadership Programme will be for vice presidents and senior vice presidents, strengthening strategic leadership skills, innovation capacity and executive presence. The programme will be for 18 senior executives, and aims to create a consistent and standardised executive leadership culture that drives improvements in operational performance, customer experience and AI-driven innovation.

The Management Training Programme is designed as the “engine room” of flydubai’s transformation, equipping senior managers and managers with the skills to become performance multipliers and cultural ambassadors. It will develop 120 managers across the board.

Commenting on the launch, Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said: “Our people are at the heart of flydubai’s success. By investing in structured leadership development, we are building the capability needed to translate strategy into action, support our continued growth while aligning closely with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and talent development strategies. We are committed to supporting the emirate’s ambition to position Dubai among the world’s top cities for business, innovation and quality of life.”

Nasser Binkherbash, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at flydubai, added: “These programmes are designed to develop leaders at every level of the organisation, from managers who lead teams day-to-day to executives shaping our future direction. By focusing on real-world application and cultural alignment, we are creating a nourishing work environment that empowers our people to perform, grow and lead with confidence.”
Both programmes will run annually and form a core pillar of flydubai’s people development strategy, ensuring a sustainable leadership pipeline that supports the airline’s long-term transformation and business ambitions.

In its 17th year of operations, flydubai has built a strong workforce of more than 6,700 colleagues representing 144 nationalities. The carrier’s ongoing recruitment drives enable steady growth across multiple departments, supporting the airline’s future development plans.
