Tottenham interim boss Tudor leaves club

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on Sunday it had been mutually agreed head coach Igor Tudor would leave the club with immediate effect.

A statement on the club's website said Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach.

The statement read: "We thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.

"An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course."

Tudor was appointed until the end of the season after Spurs sacked Thomas Frank in February.

His reign began disastrously with a 4-1 Premier League mauling by derby rivals and leaders Arsenal, and losses to Fulham and Crystal Palace followed.

A humiliating 3-0 home defeat by fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest sealed his fate.

Spurs have not won a Premier League game since December 28 away at Palace, a woeful run of 13 games that has left the North London club in genuine danger of the drop.

They are sitting 17th in the league standings with 30 points after 31 games while they were also knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16 by Atletico Madrid.
