Sexton out of World Cup clash with Argentina

Johnny Sexton has been ruled out of Ireland’s World Cup Quarter final against Argentina on Sunday in Cardiff. Jamie Heaslip will captain the side in the absence of the injured Paul O’Connell. Meanwhile, Scotland forwards Jonny Gray and Ross Ford have had their three week bans overturned, and will be available to face Australia. Verne Cotter has said they’ll be focusing on improving their defence against the Wallabies. Matt Giteau and Stephen Moore are expected to make their 100th appearances for Australia. Kick-Off times (UAE): 4 pm: Ireland v Argentina 7 pm: Australia v Scotland On Saturday, South Africa beat Wales to book a place in the World Cup semi-finals against New Zealand. The Springboks won a hard fought contest 23-19 against Wales to set-up a Southern hemisphere clash with the All Blacks who thrashed France 62-13.
