Novak Djokovic clinched his fifth Paris Masters trophy following a 6-3, 6-4 win over Denis Shapovalov.

The world number one needed just 68 minutes to beat the Canadian, who advanced to the final after Rafael Nadal pulled out of their semi-final due to injury.

Djokovic has now won 34 Masters singles trophies, to move one behind all-time leader Nadal.

It's also his 77th ATP tour title, moving him into a tie with John McEnroe for fifth all-time.
