Long-distance swimming stars racing in the Capital

Many of the world’s top long distance swimmers are taking part in a race in Abu Dhabi Corniche. The capital’s Sports Council is teaming up with the world governing body for swimming, FINA, to host the 10k swimming marathon. This annual, elite-level competition includes seven legs, with other races taking place in Argentina, Hungary, Canada, China and Hong Kong. Residents are being encouraged to attend the free event, which includes an entertainment village with family friendly activities.
