India, Pakistan to lock horns in rainy Manchester

Twitter

One of the greatest rivalries in sports takes place later Sunday as India and Pakistan play each other in the cricket World Cup.

A win for India will take them to second place in the points table.

Meanwhile, a victory for Pakistan will set them up nicely for a semi-final spot.

More than a billion around the world are expected to watch the match.

However, rain could end up playing spoilsport in what has already been the most rain-affected World Cup in history.

Showers are forecast throughout the day in Manchester and officials are unsure if the action will start on time.

Play from Old Trafford is scheduled to get underway at 1:30 pm UAE time.
