Ethiopia’s Getaneh Molla triumphs at Dubai Marathon

Ethiopia’s Getaneh Molla has set a new Dubai Marathon record after winning the 2019 race.

He triumphed over fellow Ethiopian Negasa at 2 hours, 3 minutes and 34 seconds.

The women's race was won by Kenya's Ruth Chepngetich. She clocked 2 hours, 17 minutes and 07 seconds and broke the record of Roza Dereje in the 2018 edition. Worknesh Degefa was 34 seconds adrift to come in second.
