Watch: MBRSC makes progress on revolutionary MBZ-SAT

WAM

Teams from Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre have made significant progress on the Emirati-built MBZ-SAT.

According to a social media post, the team have completed the structure model and initial tests of MBZ-SAT.

It will be launched onboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket in 2023.

Upon completion, MBZ-SAT will become the second Emirati satellite to be fully developed and built by a team of UAE engineers after the KhalifaSat.

The team will now begin preparations to manufacture the flight model.

Before the latest update, engineers from MBRSC were seen using a 3D printer to create parts for a prototype of the MBZ-SAT satellite.
