UAE welcomes call for emergency summits

WAM

Regional leaders are set to discuss the recent acts of sabotage against commercial vessels off the coats of the UAE and the dual terrorist attacks against two Saudi pumping stations.

It comes after two emergency summits have been called for by Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

They'll take place in Mecca on May 30.

Arab leaders will convene to talk about the consequences the incidents have had on the region and what needs to be done about them.

The UAE has welcomed the emergency summits, saying they will unify Arab ranks and coordinate their stances.
