The UAE response team has reviewed the relief efforts in southern Philippines after a strong quake left at least 78 people dead and thousands more displaced.

The 7.8-magnitude quake struck offshore near Mindanao Island on June 8.

The team reviewed operations at the field hospital, while also assessing the conditions of displaced residents and identifying their urgent humanitarian needs.

The UAE continues to deliver food supplies, essential items and urgent humanitarian aid as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the quake victims.
