President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a phone called on Sunday.
During the call, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation economic, trade, and investment cooperation to advance mutual interests, as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership signed in 2020.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Mitsotakis also reviewed several regional and international issues of common concern, particularly the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing crises in Gaza and Lebanon.
They emphasised the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire, ensuring full protection for civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law, and addressing the worsening humanitarian situation.
They also stressed the need to work to prevent the expansion of regional conflict that threatens security and stability and establish a clear political horizon for a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution that guarantees security and stability for all.
