The UAE has allocated $10 million in emergency humanitarian aid to support people affected by two earthquakes off Venezuela's northern coast.

The assistance, directed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will be delivered through the UAE Aid Agency to help provide food, medical supplies, shelter and other essential relief.

The UAE says the support reflects its commitment to helping communities affected by natural disasters around the world and to assisting recovery efforts.

Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, said it is coordinating with Venezuelan authorities and international organisations to ensure aid reaches those most in need as quickly as possible.
