His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, visited a number of academic and service projects in the city of Khorfakkan on Sunday.
He also inspected the progress on the expansion of the University of Sharjah.
During his visit, His Highness examined the work of various tourism and entertainment projects, including Khorfakkan Square Park project.
The Sharjah Ruler also visited the Resistance Monument, which was built to commemorate the sacrifices of the people of Khorfakkan.

The monument has a wide atrium on an area of 898 meters. It is subdivided into two halls and is dedicated to cinematic shows with their display screens.
