H.H. Sheikh Khaled approves AED1.54 billion in housing benefits

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has approved a housing benefits package worth AED1.54 billion for 1,074 citizens in the capital, ahead of Eid Al Adha.

It follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The package includes housing loans worth AED1.41 billion, benefiting 929 citizens, along with the provision of housing grants and ready-built homes valued at AED1.51 billion.

It also includes loan repayment exemptions for limited-income senior citizens, retirees and families of the deceased, worth AED123 million, benefiting 145 senior citizens.

This is the second housing package of 2026, taking total value of housing benefits disbursed to Abu Dhabi citizens to AED5.76 billion.

The move underscores the UAE leader's efforts to promote social stability while ensuring the needs of citizens are met through sustainable and inclusive housing solutions.

This package brings the total housing benefits delivered to citizens in the Emirate since the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority to more than 133,000, exceeding AED182 billion.
