H.H. Sheikh Ahmed honours media leaders for building trust, responsible coverage

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, has honoured more than 100 UAE media organisations, media professionals and content creators for their role in enhancing trust and fostering national unity during recent regional developments.

Speaking at the opening of the 11th Emirati Media Forum, Sheikh Ahmed praised the UAE media's professionalism, responsibility and commitment to delivering accurate information during a challenging period.

He said national media played an important role in strengthening unity and reinforcing public trust by providing clear and reliable coverage.

Sheikh Ahmed also called on media organisations to continue raising awareness, promoting national values and supporting the country's development goals, while helping younger generations make a positive impact.

The Emirati Media Forum brought together senior media leaders, editors, writers, influencers and content creators from across the UAE to discuss the future of the sector and opportunities for growth.

The event highlighted the role of national media in safeguarding the UAE's security and stability, strengthening public confidence and supporting the country's ongoing development.
