Fuel prices in UAE now lower than those before deregulation

New fuel prices in the UAE are now lower than those before deregulation began. The price for a litre of diesel has dropped by 35% as it now costs AED 1.87 compared to AED 2.90 before deregulation. Energy Economist, Robin Mills says the deregulation was well timed by the UAE government as it did not have a big impact on the economy.

As for gasoline products, Super is AED 1.81 per litre, Special is AED 1.70 per litre, and E Plus is AED 1.63 per litre.
