Etihad Airways announced on Saturday more flights between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh have been cancelled until October 12 due to an "operational disruption" at Riyadh airport.
The UAE national carrier earlier shared that eight flights had been affected by a disruption at Riyadh's airport following Houthi attacks on the facility.
In a statement shared on its website, Etihad Airways said the following flights between Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi and King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh are affected:
October 10:
- EY555 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY556 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
- EY559 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY560 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
October 11:
- EY551 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY552 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
- EY555 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY556 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
- EY559 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY560 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
October 12:
- EY551 from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh
- EY552 from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi
The airline added that further changes are possible as the situation remains "dynamic".

Meanwhile, Riyadh airport issued a travel alert on Saturday urging passengers to contact their airlines directly and check their flight status before heading there.
Flydubai shared in a statement on Friday that flights to Riyadh and Yanbu were cancelled up to and including October 10, while flights to Abha have been cancelled up to and including October 11".
