Inspections have been stepped up across Dubai to ensure that businesses are complying with the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
As many as 2,366 outlets have been inspected during the latest round of field visits by officials at Dubai Municipality.
One entertainment venue has been shut down for hosting a birthday party, while 17 establishments have been fined, and warnings have been issued to 42 outlets for other violations.
A total of 2,306 businesses were found to be fully compliant with the rules.
