Dubai-Sharjah ferry gets popular with commuters

If you've been on the new ferry service linking Dubai and Sharjah, you’re one among the nearly 48,000 passengers who’ve tried it out.

It was launched on July 27 and is already proving to be a hit with commuters.

The journey between Dubai’s Al Ghubaiba Marine Station and Aquarium Station in Sharjah takes about 35 minutes.

There are 21 daily trips in each direction.

The service is priced at AED 15 for Silver Class and AED 25 for Gold Class, but it's free for people of determination and children below five.

You can also browse away to your heart's content as there's free WiFi onboard.
