Dubai Police reveal truth behind 'dollar boxes' video

Supplied

Dubai Police have arrested the men behind a viral video showing boxes filled with piles of dollars.

The footage was secretly recorded by a gang that tried to con a man with the offer of doubling his money.

They lured him through social media but he backed out when he realised the cash was fake.

The video was later used to blackmail the victim, who reported the matter to police.

Officials haven’t revealed how many suspects were arrested.
