Representatives from Dubai and India have discussed collaboration opportunities in the field of medicine.
This comes after Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) received Dr Aman Puri, Consul-General of India to Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
They agreed that the move will allow healthcare professionals in both countries to exchange knowledge and expertise in their respective specialities.
Specific areas of collaboration, between the DHA and National Health Authority of India, include organ transplant, medical research, cancer care, cardiology, health innovation, mental health services and geriatric services.
Dr. Puri added that COVID-19 has reinforced the importance of exchanging best practices between countries and health systems.
