COVID-19: UAE confirms 612 new cases; no deaths

The UAE has announced 612 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 72,766.

The number of recoveries has gone up to 63,158 after another 490 people were given the all-clear.

The death toll remains 387 as no fatalities have been reported over the past 24 hours.

This means that there are currently 9,221 active cases in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), as many as 80,935 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.
