COVID-19: UAE announces 735 cases; three deaths

The UAE has confirmed 735 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 71,540.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), as many as 79,623 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 62,029 after another 538 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also confirmed the death of three patients, bringing the total number of fatalities to 387.

This means that there are currently 9,124 active cases in the country.
