Supplied

Seven more business establishments have been fined in Dubai for not complying with the COVID-19 precautionary measures.

They were pulled up for their employees’ lack of commitment to wearing face masks, while warnings were issued to two other outlets for not placing enough physical distancing stickers.

The fines were imposed on retail outlets in various shopping centres and also on shops selling wallpaper, building materials as well as electrical and lighting equipment.

A total of 820 establishments were found complying with the rules during the latest round of inspections carried out by Dubai Economy.
