The UAE has confirmed 1,008 new cases of COVID-19 from 96,994 tests.
Another 1,466 people have recovered, taking the recovery tally to 133,490.
Meanwhile, six more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 503.
A total of 136,149 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 2,156 are currently active.
