More than 1,700 villas will be constructed for Emiratis in two Abu Dhabi suburbs over the next few years.

The residential developments worth over AED 7 billion have been announced by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.

A total of 1,500 new homes in West Baniyas are expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027, while another 242 villas in Al Samha are scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2025.

The projects will include public facilities and services including gardens, mosques and commercial outlets.

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has signed two agreements with Q Holding to develop these projects.

The announcement of the new developments comes following the recent completion of the expanded Al Falah residential project through the addition of 899 residential villas to the original first and second phases. This brings the total number of villas to 5,756.
