The UAE confirmed 971 new cases of COVID-19 from 302,164 tests on Sunday.
Another 1,387 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 712,521.
One patient has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,046.
A total of 723,263 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 8,696 are currently active.
