His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has invited "citizens and residents, institutions and ministries, schools and universities, and households across all Emirates" to raise the UAE flag.
In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed reminded the public to celebrate November 3 as "an important national moment that embodies our love, pride, and loyalty to our homeland".
The moment, he added, symbolises a "unified moment, where the nation and its people stand before the symbol of our dignity and glory".
"We pledge our lives to it, and we are prepared to sacrifice everything - even our own blood - to see it held high," Sheikh Mohammed added.
"Long live the nation, and long live the flag."
